Biological Hygienist
Special interests include holistic/ biocompatible oral healthcare, nutrition, ozone therapy, and philanthropy.
Melanie Galles graduated from Grand Valley State University where she completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science. Melanie is also a graduate of Concorde College where she received her dental hygienist degree. At GVSU she was a Student Ambassador, a member of the Co-Ed Cheerleading and the Equestrian Team. She won IHSA High Point Rider in the state of Michigan for the 2007-08 season. In dental hygiene school she achieved the Academic Dean’s List. She completed her holistic dental certifications with The International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) & The International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM) and is also laser certified with The Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Melanie Galles’s desire to help others who are less fortunate has been apparent in her involvement with many charities such as Mission of Mercy, Operation Care, Dentistry From The Heart, Texas Red Cross, Tooth Time Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, Dental Health Month, Operation White Christmas, Hospice, Whirlpool Steelhead Triathlon, and Berrien County Youth Fair. She has spent time on several dental outreaches that serve underprivileged communities and has a genuine concern for the importance of dental health.

In her spare time she enjoys traveling, working out, church, cooking, sports, riding horses, hiking, and fishing. Melanie loves what she does and is looking forward to helping you take care of your teeth and overall health.
